Vinyl Scratch / DJ PON 3

I always wondered why if PON is a vanguard DJ, she's usually represented in Equestria movies like a comic book mad scientist wearing her granny's socks in her hands, so I created my own version, trying to reflect a more modern fashion approach, but keeping all the elements that make the character what she is. High Res file is free for all my patrons

I have started this illustration as a normal pencil sketch

Using a new layer, I clean up the line art.

We start with neutral grey as background color.

At this step. I start to separate the different larger areas by color.

I want to create a translucent plastic-latex effect for her dress, (but not too much, otherwise she would look as she were naked under her clothes), so I added texture, volume and shadows to push the effect a little more.

At this point, I just need to focus on details and volume.

A word of advice: never left the backgroud to the end. Keep in mind some clothes reflects the ambient's lights:
