Aquarell

It's finally time to start adding some color to the character sketches for Seven Paintings War, so I decided to begin with the priestess, Aquarell.

One of the things I like most about her design is that, despite her somewhat childlike appearance, the overall silhouette of her body subtly resembles a bottle. It gives her a distinctive shape that I find both charming and memorable.

When designing Aquarell, I wanted her to have a few ethnic-inspired features that would make her visually interesting and unique, while avoiding a direct resemblance to any specific real-world ethnicity. The goal was to create a character who feels familiar yet belongs entirely to her own world.
