Eternity

This digital illustration was created as a photocomposition in which 34 photographs were used to recreate the image of the iconic Day of the Dead's "La Catrina" (The Dapper Skeleton), for the Parade of the White Lady exhibition, presented by the Consulate of Mexico in China (Guangzhou) as part of the cultural exchange between both countries. The purpose was to present to the people of China the Mexican traditions related to the Day of the Dead. Intentionally, all colors, shapes, and elements used have some kind of symbology within the Chinese culture.

Update: Eternity was chosen as the official image of the Day of the Dead Festival 2017. For this reason, this illustration is all over the city to promote the Day of the Dead exhibition.
